“I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone. My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.”–Bjarne Stroustrup

I want to apologize for problems on my website ( My husband’s computer died a year or so ago and he lost the codes that we used when we set it up, so I have not been able to update it since then and most of the links no longer work.

I’ve also been having trouble with my blogging platform–sometimes I can post, sometimes I can’t, and sometimes I can post but the results look a little weird. I may have to start over from scratch on both sites. Since my new book is due out soon and I had planned to put up revised versions of both sites at that time, I am going to wait a while longer to work on a fix. Thank you for your patience.

The working title for my first book was, “You’ll Never Know What You Are Missing.” It summed up my goal: to make eating for health synonymous with eating for pleasure. Once you discover the secret, you will find that the very best food for weight management, longevity, the treatment and prevention of disease, and over-all health and happiness is also the most sumptuous, satisfying, and indulgent way of eating the world has to offer. You are invited to the feast. Enjoy!

  1. your second book is due out soon? and !. That is great. Congratulations.

  2. Hi Joanell!
I just got the final edited version back today. I still have work to do on the pictures, then it goes for lay-out. I am weary, but getting excited that I'm almost finished.

  3. Wow, Judy, have not spoken to you for ages, but very happy for you! I am also working on a cookbook due out end of September. We should exchange cookbooks at that point. 🙂 Hugs, Jen

  4. When you redo your site it sure would be nice if you got rid of the black background on it. It is sooooo hard to read for those of us with bad eyesight.
Looking forward to the new book.

  5. I'm looking forward to your new book, Jennifer!

  6. Anonymous,
Thank you for the advice. I have heard that from others as well. I tried to change it recently, but without success, so I'll have to wait till I get some expert advice.

  7. It can be frustrating to keep at it when you're surrounded by technical problems. I know from experience that it can take all the fun out of blogging. Writing, even!

But – just in case you were wondering – it really IS worth it. I've not visited before and now I'm LONG overdue to tackle the laundry pile which should have been started an hour ago! Top marks! And thanks 🙂

  8. Thank you David! Your comment cheered me up as I sit here pounding away at my keyboard.

I also took a peek at your blog ( and found it very interesting and amusing. Keep up the good work, and thanks for visiting my blog.
