    The latest reports about the new mutated version of COVID shows that it is different in 2 ways: 1. Exhaled droplets carry a denser load of virus, and 2. the spikes on the virus are better at attaching to lung cells. Reducing blood sugar still looks like a good way to lower our risk of catching it. We still can't get the vaccine where I live and I'm not sure if I will be allowed to get it anyway since I am on a steroid that affects my immune system. (The issue is that it may not offer protection to those of us who are on drugs that affect the immune system, not so much that it will be harmful, although that is also a consideration.)
