I just got back (a day later than expected) from a fabulous trip. I’ll blog about my adventures as soon as I get unpacked, do the laundry, and catch my breath. Here is a preview: a private jet, glaciers, volcanoes, great food, and LOTS of grizzly bears!

Congress is going pro-soy, plant-based. Are Members even aware? Many want to fight chronic disease. Incoming is Metz Culinary Management, which gets a A+ rating from the Humane Society's Food Service Industry Protein Sustainability Scorecard. https://humaneworld.org/sites/default/files/docs/HSUS_food-service-scorecard_2023.pdf
Plant-based proteins receive high ratings, even though they are less complete, less absorbable, and worse for human health.
Strange that the US Humane Society should rate food service operations in the same way it rates DEI (and why should the Humane Society rate either?). It's time for these ratings systems, focused exclusively on climate and to the detriment of health, to END.
