STOP BY AND SAY HELLO

I’ll be signing my book, Nourished, and answering questions at Molbak’s Garden and Home Center in Woodinville, WA this Saturday and Sunday, April 13 and 14, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, as part of their Edible Gardens Weekend event. If you are in the area please stop by to chat and try some recipe samples.

As you can see from the picture of the café area above, Molbak’s is a beautiful place to visit and find inspiration for your home and patio as well as your garden. A trip to Molbak’s feels like a vacation to the tropics when the weather gets you down or when you just need a little rest and relaxation. Hope to see you there!

The working title for my first book was, “You’ll Never Know What You Are Missing.” It summed up my goal: to make eating for health synonymous with eating for pleasure. Once you discover the secret, you will find that the very best food for weight management, longevity, the treatment and prevention of disease, and over-all health and happiness is also the most sumptuous, satisfying, and indulgent way of eating the world has to offer. You are invited to the feast. Enjoy!

I had a fantastic 2 days at Molbaks! Thank you so much to all of you who came. I stayed later than scheduled because there were so many people waiting at my table and Molbak's has invited me to hold a seminar for them! I will post the date when I know it.

Thanks, newlifewithfibro. If you haven't seen them, I have several older posts about fibromyalgia. Just put the word in the search bar to find them. There is a solution for fibro that goes way beyond carbs. It is Dr. St Amand's protocol. He is an endocrinologist in Southern CA who has several books out about what causes it and how to reverse it.

That's awesome, thanks so much for your research to make food healthy and good. My fibromyalgia is so much better when I stay away from carbs. Congrats on your new book.

Sadly, we are on the other side of the country, but I hope the signing goes fantastically. Also, I love the edible garden idea – I hope it flourishes in WA!
